Shoe Trees
Alder wood
Fitting perfectly the Rivolta Calegari last (round toe) or Franco Rivolta last (semi-square toe)
Lightweight and designed to match our collection, they are made of alder, the wood that absorbs humidity best. This is why, in centuries gone by, it was used for the foundation pilings that support the palaces of Venice, essentially underpinning the entire city of the lion of St. Mark.
The shoe trees, fitting perfectly the Rivolta Calegari last (round toe) or Franco Rivolta last (semi-square toe), allow a natural stretch of the shoe leather to keep it over time.
For made to measure footwear, we offer shoe trees made to bespoke last specifications.
